The intensity with which these cattos sit and watch the world outside matches purrfectly with that of a solider on guard duty. Tasked with ensuring the safety and security of the area he is observing the hooman version is willing and able to do whatever it takes to keep his people safe. This cat on the other hand will make chattering noises at a random bird or squirrel and pretend as though it is going to pounce and capture the passing bird or rodent. When in all reality if they were to meet face to face outside the cat would not be so brave.

Apparently unlike certain streets, window watching is a two way activity in the world of cats. We cannot quite imagine what this cat is so intrigued by in the house he is peeping into. But if he is a stray cat then he might be rightfully staring inside wishing he had the lavish life of an indoor cat. Could you imagine how heartbreaking it must be for a feral feline to see another cat receive pets while they are served their favorite meal by their favorite person. It's like an unhoused person peering through the window of a Michelin starred restaurant.
